We’re slowly making our way up north and have officially passed Trondheim. This was a short pitstop in Røros, an old copper mining town east of the Forollhogna national park in Norway. We met a really nice French men and his American shepherd there and ended up walking around the city with him for a little while.
I am (or my nervous system is) starting to calm down a little. Being outside, surrounded by nature, helps immensely. The guy I bought my van off of used to have it parked on a tree lined street and during winters, tree sap, tar and who knows what else got caked onto the roof. Over time and hot summers it dried out and crusted. I have no idea why he didnt clean it before, but this has been one of my goals since I got the van. It's gonna take a lot of patience and elbow grease, but I got a pretty good start on it today.
