Sometimes, Carla just liked to walk down by the lake in the moonlight and tonight was a perfect night for it. The skies were clear and the moon was round and full and so bright it was easy to see all around. Unfortunately, the brisk December night air was a bit too cold for bare feet, so there would no more dipping her toes in the water until spring.

She was in no hurry, barely even moving as she watched the reflection of the moon in the crystal still water, completely at peace. That is, until the hair prickled on the back of her neck and she tensed, her finely honed instincts kicking in and letting her know she was not alone. 

Of course, she wasn’t afraid, but, though she would never admit it, she was a bit unnerved at the idea that an unidentified someone was nearby and unseen. However, she was not going to let this ruin her walk. She could handle herself. 

She stayed where she was, her senses on alert as she tipped her face back to the moon and breathed in the cool night air as if she had not a care in the world.

III FORGOT TO POST THIS.  It's not colored because I tried to color it but I REALLY AM VERY POOR AT COLORING.  So lines it shall stay.
