Vampire Hunter! DCA x Vampire Reader Snippet 2
CW warning for Violence and light monster gore
There was a time and a place. A time and a place, Sun thought as he tapped his claws against the bricks. Sickle in his other hand he stalked down the alleyway. It was dead silent except for the distant sound of cars. The city truly never dies he thought.
Now was not the time for his mind to drift. He was on the hunt. He didn't like how close he was to your darling coffee shop. Much too close for comfort. You were working tonight like well, every night. He had asked before when you had time off and you had just shrugged at that.
Moon was more worried than him, though he was just as worried as his lover. Working that much wasn't good for anyone, not a human nor a bot. You were too much like Eclipse in that matter. Both of you worked too much for your own goods.
His attention was brought back with the smallest of a noise. A human wouldn't have heard it but he wasn't human nor was his hearing. He scanned the scene in front of him before pouncing.
There, trying to blend into the wall. The foul creature was there waiting for a heartbeat, for something with a pulse. Waiting for someone like you. The thought made him angry, so he moved. He moved with the inhuman speed that he was built for.
Pulling out his other sickle he aimed for the thing's back. The damned things eyes stared at him with those ugly red eyes. There were at least eight or so of them on this one. His sickle found its target and sunk into his back. The thing made an inhuman noise as it tried to attack the Sun. However, his sickle was still embedded in its back, he dragged it down, cutting it open. Black blood rushed out of it as it screamed out. He couldn't help the face he made as the thing fell to the ground with a wet splat.
He ripped his sickle out of its now lifeless back. It twitched but it was clear the thing was now dead. He didn't have to worry about cleaning up the body, when the sun came up it would turn it to ashes.
Behind him there was a loud growl, he turned just as a different vampire came out of the shadows to attack. Before he was able to attack the thing a blade was sticking through it. Behind the now limbless body was his lover. Moon had a bored expression on his face as he threw his blade down and the thing slid off of it and onto the ground to find a home to the other corpse.
"You seem distracted," Moon said with a raised eyebrow. Sun walked to him, setting his sickles back into his belt.
"Just thinking about our date tomorrow," Sun said with a smile, once he was close enough he grabbed Moon's jacket and pulled him close to him.
"Oh yeah?" Moon said with a smirk, wrapping his arms around Sun's neck. Sun put his hands on his partner's hips. Oh, tonight was gonna be fun when they got home.
"Yeah, our dearest starlight is gonna love it. You've planned a very perfect date." Sun said leaning forward and kissing him. Moon let out a hum as he kissed him back.
The kiss was soft and sweet. The two had no reason to go further, just enjoying being right here in the moment. Oh, how Sun loved him so much. But like everything the kiss ended and the two broke apart.
"We have to go finish our patrol, then..." Moon said with a grin.
"Then we can have some fun," Sun said with a giggle. His rays moved around quickly.
