VAMPIRES - ngl gonna base this v heavily on Simon Snow Series

Can exist in daytime (tho they burn easily, and it like- this deep itchiness vs. normal skin burns)

No bat transformation

Can survive on nothing but animals but they will age

Very hard to kill (can just. Tank bullets n shit)

BUT, burn from silver & fire* instantly fucking kills them.

Super strength & speed

Can hear heartbeat/smell blood inside people (very annoying actually)

Slow/barely there heartbeat

Mirror works unless they are silverback.

Don’t really have a thrall, just something that make them a bit more charming/soothing.

Runs cold (bc no circulation)

*We can pretend that Narukami will forever be weak against fire instead of him dying immediately upon Yukiko, okay? Okay.

WEREWOLVES - I’m making bullshit up

Human in daylight, but as night falls gain more of their wolf parts & viceversa.

If really skilled can control their shifts (can be wolf in daytime, human in night) but is very draining & hard to do

Allergic to silver

Stronger & faster & get whatever tf wolves have the more wolf they wolf

Usually runs warm

Lean more carnivorous (need more protein to maintain good health) but can have a standard human diet (veganism not recommended, but theoretically possible).

Really social, need lots of physical affection and exercise or get angsty.

Mind become more emotional/instinctual at night (esp during full moon) but not like, braindead “kill kill kill!” wolves.

Like. imagine them high or drunk. Like that logical nerfing. Silly lil dawgs

How do we start this actually. First meet? Random dungeon crawl scene? Them biting each other? Like, what? Wait would be funny if none of Inaba seen a vamp before. Wait idea: mostly human world with like, the occasional monster, so like outside of the Hanamuras they’re are prob v little monsters in Inaba (besides the Amagis, idk what they are, kitsunes? Faes? Other folklore here?) and they aren’t really taught about, like, biology wise (just like, in historical context), so like. Ppl only know about stereotypes/misinformation about vampires.

Like, no one really realizes that Narukami is a vampire until he straight up tells them, because for the most part he just look like a pale ass human. And Yosuke had to face a lot of fear & misunderstandings at first (and lowk still do) due to him being the only werewolf family in town. (He also face some werewolf discrimination & being call a pack of hungry wolves preying on the hares of Inaba & other shit like that but he pretends it doesn’t bother him) (it does)

Once they learn, they try their best to make him as comfortable as possible, going so far as to offer blood, which Narukami denies.

Chie: What! You don’t want my blood? I promise it’s not bad!

Yosuke: With how much meat you eat, I won’t be surprised if it’s clogged with cholesterol.

Chie: HEY! AT LEAST I DONT EAT JUNK LIKE-

Narukami: It’s because I’m not allowed to drink human blood.

Yukiko: Really?

Yosuke: Why?

Narukami: I mean, my parents don’t want me to stop aging at 16 and I agree, they say that around 30 is a good stopping point, mature but not too grey yet.

There is an awkward silence where everyone looks at this grey hair & eyes.

Narukami: …More grey…

While vampires do need to sleep, they don’t need nearly as many hours as humans need, so a lot of the time he spend a good chunk of his nights hanging out with Yosuke, either walking around Inaba or brushing his hair/fur, or taking care of him during full moons.

Narukami: Can I braid your hair?

Yosuke: You know how to braid hair?

Narukami: Yeah, I do it on Nanako-chan sometimes.

Yosuke: Right, I mean I don’t think I’ll look good, and isn’t that too girly anyways?

Narukami: I think you’ll look very pretty, you have such nice hair, especially in this form, it would be a shame to not play with it.

Yosuke: Play- I’m not some doll!

His tail is wagging a lot rn btw

Narukami: Haha, sorry, but can I braid your hair though?

Yosuke, tail still wagging: …Fine, but if I look bad I’m biting you!
