Does Eclipse have to restrain people going through the vampire transformation process to prevent this, if he actually wanted to improve the person’s chances of survival?

I could also see him doing it because it helps with brainwashing new servants. If they can’t move and are in extreme pain, then he not only becomes their sole focus but also be a source of “comfort” he can use to generate loyalty.

🤔 Eclipse didn't really care tbh, he'd basically just let them suffer on the floor and then if they successfully turn theeennn he'd use his hypnosis brainwashing (plus their bodies would self heal any wounds or hurt they got during the turning process, if they survived)

In my Vampire au (Child of the Night) after the events of the third chapter, the dads try to subtly teach you how to use your new found powers,

You absolutely don’t want to, hence the need to hide the training.

For instance, with levitation. Sun will lead you into a dark room, saying he just needs to find a candle stick to light. You’ll begrudgingly hold his hand, not realizing that he is leading you to a railless balcony. You don’t even notice when you feet leave the floor.

(Think of a cartoon character before they look down!)

He’ll lead you in a large circle in the air before heading back to the balcony and “miraculously” finding a candle.
