started writing a halloween vampire owen fic and immediately got distracted so uh. have this KNDKS

"it's kinda funny that you’re more scared about this than i am." curt says, baring his neck before owen even has to do anything. "i mean- shouldn’t the roles be reversed?"
owen gives him a deadpan look before leaning over curt's neck, resting a hand on his waist to steady them both. he hesitates before opening his mouth, not wanting to hurt someone he cares about so much, and ghosts his fangs over the exposed skin. unsurprisingly, curt makes a muffled noise that could be a yelp and jolts a little at the sensation.
less expectedly is the embarrassed disappointment on curt's face when owen pulls back. he raises a skeptical eyebrow. "i told you."
"that- that wasn't the problem." curt glances away, and despite the darkness of the woods, owen can clearly see him blushing.
owen frowns. "i don't want to harm you, curt—even if this is something you want, it's not the same when-"
"i’m ticklish, alright?" curt looks more flustered by this fact than when he asked owen to bite him. it's both entertaining and adorable, and owen can feel his whole demeanour changing in an instant. "don't- don’t look at me like that."
"that's a new one." owen can't help the grin spreading across his face, suddenly liking this idea much more. "so, you want me to keep going?"
curt mostly resembles a very cute radish by now, and owen wants nothing more than to keep it that way. "yes, just- i'll say if it hurts. and if it's- the other thing."
owen is much more enthusiastic this time, but he takes it slower, enjoying the look of anticipation on curt's face. he tenses when owen puts his hand back against his waist, and practically squeaks when owen positions his mouth above his neck. "you ready?"
"yes, i’m ready, you bastard." curt says through clenched teeth—something that would be concerning if owen didn't know the reason behind it. "i asked you to bite me, not- tease me."
"but it's so cute." owen lets his lips brush against curt's skin as he speaks, smiling a little more fondly than a vampire perhaps should as curt shivers almost imperceptibly. "alright, i’m going to have to find your pulse point."
it's a complete lie—vampires don't really have to find a pulse point, just like a regular person doesn't need to find someone's head; you can just see it as soon as you look at someone—but owen has decided to be a complete menace with this new information and it's unlikely that curt knows this fact well enough to argue. it's interesting and deeply endearing, the way curt is visibly doing his best not to scrunch away from the featherlight scratch of owen's fangs against his sensitive skin, even as suppressed laughs shake his shoulders.
"i’m afraid you’re going to have to stay still for me, love." owen murmurs, not even trying to resist the grin tugging at his lips as he passes over the artery for the third time. "i wouldn’t want to do too much damage."
"then- then stop being so gentle." curt manages, voice strained from the effort of holding back.
"alright." owen concedes, moving the hand on curt's shoulder to rest on the nape of his neck in order to keep him as steady as possible. curt gives a half aborted squeak as owen presses his teeth directly above the pulse point. "read-"
"do it." curt says around a frankly adorable giggle, and owen finally obeys.
