im still on that lake peipus thing. scrolled down on the wikipedia page to read abt wtf the name even means n how it got where it got. and it was a whole fucking can of worms in there. and as much as id like to get into it, its just impossible to convey the way it slapped me in the face like a big old fish when i reached the part where it said that the slavic name for estonians in that time period was "чудь". like. without the larger context. how do you even. how do you even explain.
