•They have a "main" body that grows the rest of its worms. It doesn't matter if that main body is destroyed because a few of its little worms can just fuse together to make another "main" body.
The main body is thicker than the other worms and is a bit move snake like in how it moves. It's also the only one that has eyes. Most of the worms get around by feeling their environment rather than seeing.
Atom could have multiple "main" bodies but it's exhausting to focus on them as opposed to the normal worms. They would also see multiple things at once, which is confusing to them.
The main body likes to hide ininside of worm piles. Atom's main body is currently in the spacesuit so it can look at Luna properly.
• They left a few worms outside the ship after Luna launched them out so they could track it.
•Atom has an easy time just traveling through space. Their initial idea was to travel to Earth on its own so they could learn more about Luna, but then it realized the ship would go to Earth *eventually* so it just drifted its main body back to ship.
When the main body eventually got to Earth, it slithered off to find out more about Luna and their language.
Atom got so wrapped up trying to learn to speak and read (bookworm heh) Lunas language, they didn't realize when Luna went back up to space. There were still worms on the ship, so it could keep an eye on Luna, but the main body was stuck on Earth.
There were only a handful of worms on the ship so Atom could hide very easily in the vents. It was very surprised to see Luna constantly checking the vents for any issues.
Atom reading: "... Spase chip? Spe- hmm..."
Luna: *Checking panels and grabbing a worm instead of a cable*
Atom: "WHAWHAAHWHAWUA LUNAS WHAT"
Luna: "...Did the cable just disappear?? C'mon who built this ship... make your darn wires easier to see..."
Atom: "... I need to learn to read faster so I can help Luna... Maybe they'll hold me in their hands directly this time... AHshdgjdjs-"
• You can call Atom whatever you like (Please call it wrench please please please please please-) They won't care if you insult them, does it help you express your anger Luna? Then it's okay! You're allowed to feel whatever.
As long as you don't hurt yourself or try to escape Atom will *try* to be patient. They get frustrated easily though. Not really at you just at their inability to make you happy. Especially if they can't make you happy because you won't tell it what it needs to do.
Atom will do anything! Anything Luna! Just ask! Please please please ask!!! Or demand or order it doesn't matter as long as they get to be useful to you.
...Maybe they could be more than useful to you? Maybe it could be... important? Like...
A lov- No no no Atom is happy just being with you! You don't need to love them back... it's okay Luna, just- stop trying to leave and let them make you happy-
