Unfortunately, Eren was all too aware of this trait that he had acquired of the years spent in the home after home. He himself had tried over the years to work on it, and to some extent, it’s worked. The sleep talking is still there but significantly less present than in his adolescent years.

Still groggy from just waking up from his rather restless sleep, he stared at the older student processing what he said. Then, when he did nerves flooded his body. He despised when these outbursts would occur when someone else was present.

“Really?” He tried playing it off with a soft laugh, “uh… um…. did I say anything? Or was it just gibberish?”

God, he hoped it was nonsense.

Marco figured Eren was concerned he might have said embarrassing things. Of course he did seem to be somewhat distant at times, but he guessed that was the nature of the early stages of a relationship. It was nice to know Eren trusted him enough to spend the night.

The reaction also told him that Eren did not want to talk about specifics about him. He understood that this was something he better not press, but he was still worried about Eren. He figured they might talk a bit more over coffee.

“Nothing that would cause to much concern. I was just worried you were not sleeping well is all.” He was also a little shocked by Eren’s rolling over and the like,he had been letting the brunet use his chest as a pillow.

Armin glanced at Eren with pure relief on his face, so unbelievably glad that his friend is still alive and not a corpse in a blood pool. That was close. Armin really thought Eren’s going to die this time, thankfully he managed to get away just in time.

Eren had never thought he needed glasses, he always thought his vision was fine. But apparently not. Currently the brunet was feeling a little dizzy because he was not used to the prescription.

“How come I’m the only one who needed to get them,” he whined. His brother had also been checked to see if they were need, but no just him.

Aaron felt a bit better now. At least Eren could see again. Though he could understand how Eren stumbled. He managed to catch him when he stumbled a bit.

Vivianne was already sitting up, huffing in agitation at the thought of being sidelined when she was--going to be--fine.  It would hurt, flying around on the 3DMG gear before she healed all the way, yes, but she would deal with it until she was healed.

If she could use her gear, that is.

“Really, Eren, I’m okay, I can get back out th--” she cut off as she tried to deploy her cables to test that her gear was still functional, and nothing happened. “Damn it...” she cursed, hand dropping to the gear on her waist as she got on one knee and tried to see if it was something she could fix.
