a hand absentmindedly runs through her hair, looking onward to the skyline. the sun sets on hoth to the west, the ice glittering in the evening. hues of purple, shades of pink, orange tones paint a picture of utter tranquility despite the warring day the rebellion has had. her rebellion. a day where she almost lost luke to the cold, where the winter air trapped her heart. general leia (no longer a princess. there is no land for her to guide. no people to represent.) general leia hears the question, & wishes to dismiss it.
luke would say yes. her father would say yes. the visions of her mother would say yes. of course, why not? (people can be good. people were born good.) âââ this, she cannot agree to.
