#vaggi week

I think she deserved a sparkly outfit for that one FAN EXPO (LVL UP? I don't remember) con too

Since the prompt for day 2 is "Outfits' and I've kinda wanted to discuss this topic for a while, im gonna discuss something I don't think I have before about my SoD!AU: Vaggi's outfit choices and their inspiration.

For her first outfit, which is the day to day clothes she wears in that AU, part of the inspiration I used was a Circus Trapeze artists outfit for the top part of her outfit. Because I wanted Vaggi, who'd be working with Charlie who was a sin, to also have some circus inspiration in her design since the circus is such an important part of Hell's society among the Hellborn. For the bottom skirt and her shoes, I used a ballet dancers skirt and shoes and inspiration. And the fluff around her neck is meant to resemble a moths to highlight her moth symbolism in a different vein to Valentino.

Her outfit is white rather then black like Charlie's because after she healed up her injuries ane admitted how she had no where to go, Charlie commented on how what she had was Despair, just in a different form. Being able to go anywhere and see everything but still having nothing rather then being trapped and alone. So, she had the outfit made white to represent that. (Also, do note that Vaggi and Lucifer wear the same color in this au)

The shackles are an accessory that multiple other sinners who work for Charlie wear voluntarily but for Vaggi, they're extra emotional as they're a symbol of her tying herself to Charlie and her ideals.

The accessory in her hair is two half crescent shaped hair accessories that are meant to represent a broken halo over her head.

As for her weapon, its a bident rather then a spear. Partly because it shows how she's somewhat adopted Charlie's ideals of restraining (Bidents are more for catching and disarming enemies then stabbing them), partly because it matches Canon Charlie's trident weapon and partly because...well, when I made her design, I was getting REALLY into Hades.

For her second outfit she wears while working in Charlie's Marching Band, her outfit is a Majorette's uniform (Majorette's are a kind of baton twirling dancers featured in Marching bands. Just imagine Vaggi during happy parades flying in the air doing sky dances and twirling her staff around like a baton).

That outfit is meant to have a chain pattern to it and its based on this one.

Trying to figure out what meme could match, but then I remembered this uno card meme.

I know this character has only like 3 seconds of screen time but my god is she so cute. The scene where Vaggi is comforting her look waaaay too intimate for them to not have been close
