Might be an unpopular opinion but if you truly expected Bard’s Lament to have the same impact as it did in the campaign in the show version then that’s on you, wayyyy too much was changed for it to be the same. I understand wanting to have seen the exact (or very similar) scene with more intensity, but it was never gonna hit the same as it did in the campaign because the circumstances are different, and the scene definitely still did hurt. Scanlan’s eyes watering up and seeing it from his perspective actually ended me I needed to take a minute after that.
