No one has ever witnessed Vaeltan and Vaepossum within the same observable space at the same observable time.
Reports stating otherwise have since been proven to be false, either a mundane Virginia Opossum in the general vicinity of Vaeltan or Vaepossum in the vicinity of a bald man measuring approx. 5′6′‘ in height.
It is uncertain if the two are the same being shapeshifting back and forth or two completely separate beings.
The current leading hypothesis is as follows: they are distinct beings but in the Schrodinger-esque sense that they cannot exist simultaneously within the same observable spacetime.
Attempting to observe the two simultaneously is thus highly unadvised.
