Throwback Thursday: TWSBI Diamond 580 - Orange + KWZ IG Turquoise
It's the first day of September and, unofficially, the end of summer. For me it's been a busy summer with work. But it's also been a great season spending time with the family, enjoying the outdoors and working on the blog. For this Throwback Thursday I'm taking a look at a pen and ink combination that I used for my Currently Ink in July.
Handwritten Review
Pen: TWSBI Vac Mini 1.1 Ink: KWZ IG Turquoise Paper: Rhodia No. 16 Grid
Hey! First time inking up the Vac Mini. I like it. And this KWZ IG Turquoise is awesome as ever. I love watching it dry and darken in colour.
So, it's the end of the month now and I'm going back to finish up my thoughts on it. It's amazing how much the ink as darkened over the month. The ink from earlier in the month is almost black. This ink is awesome. Really. It's so cool to watch this over time.
This turquoise is beautiful. I had so many questions on what the ink is each time I posted a picture of it on Instagram. Shading, sheen, oxidation. IG Turquoise is really awesome. Glad I got a bottle to try.
Closing Comments Good grief. Awesome must be my favourite word. But seriously, how can you look at these pictures of this ink and not love it?
What was your favourite pen + ink combo this summer?
