Happy Fountain Pen Day! ✨
˳·˖✶ This week in my journal
I'm back in the cousin bc I'm stressed, so it's either rearranging the furniture at home or journal hopping. I think hubby is happy with my choice 😂
Half-year report. Acquisition during Jan. and Jun. 2025.
Thought I had to defend myself for buying too many blue pens, but hey, it turned out ok…ish?
the gang's all here for refill day

many tigers
I set myself a goal to draw 100 tigers before the new year.
I went crazy and drew 109 already.
i desperately need a phone stand/tripod so I can take decent spread photos : - }
(twsbi eco <F> nib in Blossom Red, wearingeul ink in Hound Of The Baskervilles)
Pelikan Edelstein ink of the year 2025 - Apricot Achat
A lovely light tangerine, this ink has a medium to wet flow and is surprisingly readable for such a light ink. It has good shading and no shimmer or sheen. Well behaved on even the worst printer paper. I love the entire Edelstein collection - they’re inspired by gemstones, combining two of my favourite interests into a wonderful collectible. They’re always well behaved and they come in some great colours.
I used my eco twsbi for this writing sample - it’s the first fountain pen I ever got myself and I find that it is the least picky of all my pens, save my parker 45. It works well with all varieties of ink, including shimmers and writes smoothly. However it does have an incredibly stiff nib, so if you’re looking for a more varied line width this won’t be the pen for you.
