finding the new idol is going to be harder than she thought in the halls of trc. jei’s not quite sure what she expected, considering her own schedule is harsh - surely a new idol would be even harder to track down. at the very least though, she has an idea of who she’s looking for because yien made the request rather clear. jei just has to get a signed photocard of this girl he’s clearly obsessed with and then get it to him somehow so that he’ll keep his mouth shut when it comes to her trainee status to hyun. it’s really the only reason why she’s actually giving in to his whims in the first place.
it’s true though, that things ( and sometimes people ) are easier to find when you’re not looking for them at all. kil - or joy, whatever her name is - casually stands nearby when they’re both doing nothing at all, and jei figures that it’s perhaps the best chance she has. so she approaches, tucking her hair back behind her ear and hopes this situation won’t be too awkward for either of them. “ excuse me .. kil sunbae?” she says in a dull tone, ready to whip out her phone at a moment’s notice just in case the idol doesn’t believe her. “ if you’ve got some time, i have a favour to ask if you wouldn’t mind.”
