Another funny scene, from v force.

Kai is usually disrespectful and dismissive of everybody but he has never been that way with Takao's grandfather.

Looks like he has a soft spot for that senile old man. Usually he would have turned his nose and walked off but here he sits and endures the man's attempt to recruit him.

Reminds me, another incidence where Takao's grandpa and Kai had a scene in s1 of ep 21 where Takao got cocky after defeating Antonio, where they were training in woods during the American tournament after Rei's Driger was deafeated.

Takao's grandfather, came to sit by the forest's bonfire where Kai was already sitting. Gently probing Kai about helping Antonio defeat Takao to curbe his arrogance. They watched stars together.
