And yet when learning another they claim /that one/ to be harder than their own! It is very frustrating sometimes.” They pause for a second, “I still do have to read it, however….”

@deastris When Anane goes to hug him, he gets nervous on instinct. Scared that he's going to burn them, that he's going to hurt them again and he won't know what to do. But he doesn't smell anything this time. Doesn't hear that tell tale sizzle, and he remembers that he can truly hug them and touch them and suddenly he's holding onto them like they're the only thing left. It's not as if he's afraid to let go, he truly is. Like if he lets go he'll never be able to hold them again. He is tearing up, crying, but there is something akin to happiness and relief welling up inside him more than he will ever be able to express through words he can't say.

@adsagsona Not only had he burned up the most recent human (again, he was losing count; and the fact was, he didn't especially care about those he did), they had drawn the circle with such simplistic, erroneous form that they had managed to break it easily and let him free. Something he capitalized on rather quickly. Once he got the hang of his legs again he stumbled out of the apartment and down the stairs, ignoring the swears and shouts around him and just wanting to get /out/. Not especially looking for anything, except someplace safe. It didn't help the clothes he wore looked a tattered mess. Suddenly, he ran into someone, and with his momentum interrupted he nearly tripped, and as such made an angry noise. Until he got a good look at the person. This human had a nice, if tired and guarded, energy. Maybe he'd be able to help them?
