I think I’m in for an interesting night. While waiting for my new Hoyt riser I shot with my old traditional recurve today. That was fun. Something crazier was that I and one the juniors got the fabulous idea of chilli-archery. Match game while eating half a fresh chilli before shooting. We started out with an Aji Lemon Drop, 30.000 scoville. After that a Yellow Habanero, 350.000 scoville. To finish off with a fresh Carolina Reaper, around 2 million scoville. The last on knocked us out. I now know of parts of my body I didn’t before. Both my ears and teeth hurt. We both crashed on the floor beside the shooting line, while the rest of the class continued shooting, and laughing. At us. Picked up my old bow today and took an evening training round. My instinctive bow felt just as it did more than a year ago. Pure love. The Uukha limbs make the bow feel extremely soft and nice.
