I was a little sad we didn’t get any snow in the valleys for Christmas. The mountains around us covered. I’m sure it will hit soon enough and we will be in full winter mode.

Last week I met a couple of friends on the west shore of Utah Lake yesterday afternoon. Supposedly a large cottonwood tree has provided a nesting opportunity for a a few bald eagles. After waiting a while we were rewarded. I'm not much of a wild life photographer I guess, as despite bringing my largest telephoto lens, the eagle is not Audubon calendar sized!
