Contrary to the last hc, Sans keeps his nails short and neat

Papyrus doesn’t have a clue how to cut hair properly, so his hair’s just cut in this very weirdly and lopsidedly cut thing

They both play Minecraft and Mariokart

Sans secretly used to love stories about soulmates, and still does, despite not believing in them anymore

Papyrus’s favourite characters are Laurens, Lafayette and Hercules

Sans’s are Alexander and Eliza

Papyrus also loves Peggy

Papyrus’s favourite song is Guns and Ships, and he can and will yell it all day, every day

Sans’s is Hurricane (just listen to it, you will understand, it is such a powerful song-)

A lot of people with Undertale Human OCs tend to make said humans' HP 20 by default. But the thing is, Frisk is a Small Child.

We see in Deltarune (confirmed by Toby Fox to be an AU to Undertale) that Kris, who is a teenager, has 90HP by default (not that its possible to raise it any higher in that game but that's not the point.)

Anyway, by this logic, it's safe to assume that Frisk doesn't have 20HP bc they're human, or bc they're at LV 1, but simply because they're Babey, and that even just growing up can raise your default HP.

Therefore, any human OC could realistically have any fucking amount of HP you want to give them, even by in-universe logic. Wanna make your OC a Soldier who's trained for combat all his life? Of COURSE he's gonna have higher HP than the spindley Pizza Delivery Guy that miraculously fell down the mountain.

I love the headcanon/canonical implication in undertale that all of your fights are basically soul battles and are not 100% physical and your attacks are very much proportional to your intent and desire for violence and the strength of your soul basically (a bit like Soul Eater). This is why you’re able to kill Toriel as a tiny murderling not even past level 2 even though she’s arguably as strong or stronger than Asgore–she never saw it coming, not to mention that her will was divided at the time as she clearly didn’t want to harm you. It’s also why you can kill Papyrus after one hit despite the fact that he’s actually quite a strong boss; he does nothing but believe in your goodness and try not to hurt you and he has zero defense built up against your bloodlust. It’s why the hardest boss fights end up being against characters like Undyne and Asgore, because they have a strong desire to kill you and a lot of built-up defense because they expect the same from you. Some people have argued that Undyne’s armor is protection not against actual attacks, but your willpower and murderous intent, like some sort of soul shield. It’s also why some of the humans who fell into Undertale got further and were more effective monster killers than others based on their personalities, and why Frisk and Chara are easily the most powerful because of their willpower and the core trait of their personalities, determination.

It also would explain my favorite personal theory about Sans, that his low stats are at least partially a result of his willpower and hope being so low because he’s basically at the end of his rope and on the verge of giving up. Even if you get bored and quit the genocide run, there is no guarantee you will reset the game to a nicer ending and he’s probably gonna have to live with everyone he loves being dead. The fight is a last ditch effort to care and to protect everyone even though his soul is weak and (metaphorically or not) dying.
