i personally see pansexuality as "gender isnt a factor in who im attracted to". like bi people tend to have a preference over men or women or those inbetween (for example i have a preference to girls over guys), but pan people dont care about gender (this isnt hating on bi people lmao im bi myself but my closest friend is pan and thats the best way i can describe it). im sure a lot of people view it differently though, thats just my take
