What are your thoughts on Gnomes?
Gnomes? The little men with long beards and pointy hats? I adore the decorations of them, the newer ones that have no face, just a long beard and decorated for a different holiday... in the Norwegian style, I believe, are my favorites.
I like to see them just sitting about, keeping watch. I don't have many, myself, though I like the thought of collecting them. They're really cute.

Simply adding another light source can help bring your piece to life more, even if it’s just a slight backlight on one side.

Experiment. Try different types of lines, coloring, mediums... Try as many things as you can in order to find what you like and what works to get what emotion across best for you.
