Summoner Saga - Uraeus
(Ancient Egyptian)
This is one of two echo fighters for the seraph. Borrowing terminology from Smash Bros Ultimate, it means the uraeus shares the same stat-block as the seraph but has a different design. The reason the uraeus is connected to the seraph is the aforementioned ambiguity around that type of angelic being and snakes. The fiery flying serpent referred to as a seraph especially resembles the Egyptian symbol of the flying cobra. Unfortunately I forgot this and didn’t include wings on the uraeus. Whoops. This uraeus has a crown bearing the red image of the sun and a stylized hood based directly on some Egyptian reliefs.

Dua Montu!
Montu as an elk with his companion uraeus. Was a wonderful devotional piece, and holiday gift, to work on.
