1. Um. Um. I have a watch tan on my left arm. And I've had sandle tan on my feet for the last year. Like criss-crossed because I wore the same sandals every day for like 3-5 months or something.

2. I saw Bill Clinton once at Starbucks? He was lecturing some teenagers about something. We didn't go and talk to him, though. I was nine.

3. Except for two goldfish I had for like two days (one of them died) I've never had a pet. I really would like a cat though. Cats are beautiful creatures. But my dad says they smell too much.

4. My grandparents on my dad's side are a little bit related. Like 5th cousins or something? My mom found out when she looked at a picture in their house and saw particular eyebrows (I think) that matched my grandpa's but actually the person was from my grandma's side. I mean, they do both come from the same village on the same island in Crete.

5. I have trouble studying with other people. I'm much better studying on my own unless I need something explained to me.

I’m only slightly being sarcastic. I’m quite aware ally isn’t part of the acronym. But allies always get shit because everyone only comments on the entitles “allies”

I feel like there was a misunderstanding. What bothers me about that post is the whole “invisibility” part. I agree there needs to be more diversity in anything but it always irks me a little that there are people who believe if someone isn’t queer, they don’t know isolation. Especially when those people are trying to help. I can’t speak for everyone, obviously. But I can speak for me- and trust me. I know isolation. I know isolation for being an ally as well as for being myself.
