Decided to see what all the fuss over this style of coffee was about. I first saw it as Dalgona Coffee, but have since learned there are many names for it. The verdict? Great! I would definitely make this again. The amount of sugar carefully balances the more intense flavours of the instant coffee. I used half & half and water as my base liquid, which also softened it and made it richer, like an americano. I used a very easy recipe that had equal ratios of coffee : sugar : hot water - at 2 tablespoons each. You just whisk them together until they hold soft peaks then gently layer over iced milk.
