How to set up Automatic Backup?

For this Go to Setting → UpdraftPlus Backup and there you will find the Settings section. Under the Setting tabs, select Files and Database backup schedule for the automatic backup on Weekly. Similarly, choose anyone remote storage option but we recommend you to use Google Drive. Then, scroll to the bottom of the page to click on save changes.

This leads to other pages to link UpdraftPlus plugin with your Google Account, kindly provide the confirmation and complete the setup right there. As soon as the setup is completed, you can visit the UpdraftPlus plugin dashboard there you will find out the Existing Backup data. This data can be restored or deleted.

Restore the backup of WordPress website

This is the final step to restore the backup without any data loss. Under the Existing Backup section you will find the Restore tab, just click on that to restore the backup from the respective data backup.

But in case of site crashes you need to delete and re-install WordPress on your Domain from your hosting account. After the fresh installation of WordPress, you need to install UpdraftPlus and then connect UpdraftPlus with your Google Account as same as Step two.
