it's so strange opening up your tumblr from years ago. its like a little capsule frozen in time. like...i used to be a huge tom blyth fan??? i used to love hunger games??? it's so strange how much someone can change so drastically in 2 years.
you can be in your bedroom writing fanfiction, and 2 years later, you're working a full-time job at a firm.
you could be at university studying a course you hate, but then 2 years later you could be making indie films with a bunch of your friends.
you could be at rock bottom, practically homeless, and then in 2 years you could literally have a small cozy home, and you and your friends could be celebrating your birthday.
you could be best at whatever you're doing, then 2 years later you hit a blip that makes you reconsider everything you've ever done in your life.
things change so easily. i like to think its a blessing, because for things to always be the same, it's such a curse. you don't get to have cool stories to tell your kids or your nephews and nieces.
i think thats why i love change, because of it you get to have experiences that shape you as an individual, and also reminds you that happiness and joy will always eventually come, you won't be stuck in a rut forever.
