“You mean you didn’t dress up?” Cameron did a small turn on the spot, “Everything I’m wearing is vintage baby! I’m remembrancing!” He smiled wide, and began to point at various pieces of clothing. “Dad, Dad, these jeans are actually my mom’s, but they fit really good. And these boots are actually from the resale shop, so they are remembrancing somebody.” Cameron smiled again, wiping a hand against his nose, sniffling a bit. “After all, any party can be a costume party if you try hard enough. I kinda got this like, gay Walker Texas Ranger vibe going on tonight.” He did a couple poses like he was modeling for GQ, then burst into small peals of laughter as all his tension melted into bouncing shoulders. “Who or what are you remembrancing this evening?” He asked, once he recovered, then took a big swig of whatever colorful drink was in his wine glass.

Cameron’s Remembrance Day look is all vintage or borrowed from people older than him. He’s wearing a shirt from his dad’s closet with the sleeves cut off, his mom’s cropped jeans (and colorful socks), and a pair of worn leather boots he snagged from the thrift store. He tops it off with his dad’s old badge attached to his belt, and a bandana from his own closet, to remember himself. What do you mean Remembrance Day isn’t about having a costume? Yes it is!
