Demiuingender
A gender identity where one has a gender that is partially unknowable, unnameable, undecidable, undefinable, unidentifiable, unquantifiable, unexplainable, undeterminable and/or having part of one’s identity that they are characteristically unsure of while also partially identifying with another gender or genders; an UIN Demigender.
Etymology
From Latin, “dimedius“ to “Demi-”, meaning “half” + “Uin”, an English acronym covering all genders that are “undecided/unsure, unknown/unnamed, unidentified/undefined/unfixed or unexplainable/undetermined in nature.” + “-gender”, an English neologistic suffix indicating genderness. Uingender was coined in 2019 by user IMOGA-Pride; it is unknown who coined the term Demigender. Demiuingender lacked a flag, and I was unable to find any mention of the term thus far, so I created a post to acknowledge the term (2021).
Flag
The Demiuinender flag is a combination of the commonly used Demigender flag and the Uingender flag. The flag consists of thirteen horizontal, solid stripes, with the innermost seven stripes being half-sized. From top to bottom, the stripes are dark grey, light grey, white, light green, dusty rose, purple, indigo, green, peach beige, white, light grey and dark grey. Flag by Gent (Gender-Jargon), 2021.

Take 5 with Unquantifiable
We’ve asked the filmmakers for the 12th annual Oxford Film Festival the same five questions. Meet Ed Foose of Unquantifiable. #1: In 140 characters or less, describe your movie and why someone should see it. Unquantifiable takes a look into the uphill battle of art education and one foundation that has great impact that is difficult to measure. #2: Biggest lesson learned in getting the film made? Best part in getting the film made? When we began discussing the possibility of doing a film with Art Place Mississippi, there was not a preconceived idea about what the film would ultimately be saying. Over the course of filming and countless hours of interviews, the story of the organization and it's impact came to light. A lot was learned over the course of production and now that the film is complete, hopefully many more can learn from it as well. #3: Tell us about you. What is your movie making background? For as long as I can remember, I have always been a storyteller. The first projects I helmed were documentaries that aired on local the PBS station in the town I grew up. In recent years, I kind of strayed away from documentaries and began working almost exclusively in fiction. A great deal of my other work deals with unrealistic scenarios handled in a logical fashion. Unquantifiable marks a return not only to documentary work but to an overall lighthearted feel that has been absent in recent years. #4 What do you want the Oxford Film Festival audience to know about your film that isn’t obvious from its title or description? While the film looks at one organization in particular whose future is uncertain, what is more pressing is the fate of the organization's ideals. The struggle they face to stay afloat is becoming more and more common in many places- not just is Mississippi. #5: What does the future hold in store for your film and for you? Unquantifiable was made to be seen by as many people as possible. Hopefully those that see it will begin to think about the mysterious power of the arts. The mission of Art Place Mississippi is one that needs to be made apparent. As far as I am concerned, I am looking at securing a position in the world of sound design and mixing for motion pictures and television though I intend to continue making films in the future.
