would phyrexians have some method of reproduction outside of you know compleating everything in sight? like what would a phyrexian look like if it had been born rather then compleated from some organic being.
yes Phyrexians often have core-born offspring made from oil and recycled flesh! that's what germ tokens are, they're Phyrexian embryos. those grow into humanoid newts, which we don't have pictures of in New Phyrexia. unfortunately we only have Xantcha who is very nonrepresentative because she was specifically designed to look like a human and not a young Phyrexian, but generally they're hairless humanoids who look like "genetically modified humans" whatever that means. I assume that means janky proportions and maybe metal bits/cartilage scaffolding for future plates. They are later compleated into their mature forms.
And here are some adult* core-born Phyrexians:
*Physically mature, as in they've been compleated. This doesn't necessarily correlate with emotional/mental maturity. Ixhel can't be more than 4 years old, or however long it's been since the Mirran-Phyrexian war ended.
