This is our final animatic after getting some advice from Helen after our mock presentations on Thursday. She had said our presentation was good, but we needed to make sure that we only had our key information slides in and we each needed to introduce what we did for the project. We also needed to work on our pacing for the animatic so that it would be clear for the panel tomorrow. Whilst Natasha did the animatic, and re-done our pacing and timing and fitted in our environments in, it all looked like it was coming together nicely - and you could start to see how we aimed our visuals to be. I’m glad we decided to go over the old animatic as it sets a certain tone, and it’s easier to visualise how we want the final film to look. Whilst she was doing this, I was re-doing our presentation slides, and then added on the sound from the old animatic. There was a little bit of shifting to do, but finding sounds and putting it together was really fun, and it was cool to see how much sound changes an animation! We found a few sounds that we could change the pitch of and so on to then reuse for other sections, but our main goal is probably to add on some dialogue which either one of us will do soon, but for now we have a general idea of what sounds we need and what will work with what.
