one month ago, on September 8th, i boarded a flight from Boston to Edinburgh! happy one month, my new life, it has been incredible. 35 months to go!

Here are photos of my finalized dorm room! I attempted to make it as cozy as I could with plants, little art posters, and lots of comfort snacks/tea. Not pictured is the small sink in my room, but seeing as it is just a sink, I decided to not include a photo. Mementos from my old room in the U.S.A are scattered about the room, as well as loads of clothing that I’ve managed to keep out of sight in order to avoid clutter. Unfortunately my room has little to offer for a view, so I left out the photos of the dorms entrance where all of the students smoke. Side note: SO many students smoke here, which I find completely strange.

This is my lovely third year uni room, it has undergone many mini makeovers (as well as drunken nights, lots of laughter and the occasionally uni work breakdown!) This was during a very blue and yellow phase, suitably for Spring. Decorating uni rooms is always fun due to the uncontrollable limitations such as jumbled furniture styles, lack of space and the ever present questionable curtains! I was very happy with my room this year as it allowed me to move things around a lot and be quite playful with the styling. Look  out for more piccys!

Off to two seminars on the bounce 🙃 but here is a cute sneak peak at my room so far 🙈 ••••••••
