Cultivate: Wisconsin Contemporary Craft Educators Exhibition
April 22-May 29 Opening Reception: Friday, April 22 | 5-7pm Zoom Milwaukee Reception: Friday, May 27 | 7-9pm Cultivate is an exhibition showcasing the work of a diverse group of art educators from throughout Wisconsin. Working in a wide range of mediums including ceramics, fibers, wood, glass, and metal, these artists inspire creativity in their students while maintaining innovative practices of their own. This exhibition will highlight the excellent work being done by faculty in our state, and will accompany the Zoom Milwaukee Symposium which will be hosted by UWM Jewelry and Metal Area from May 25-29. The conference brings together craftspeople and makers from a wide range or artistic disciplines to celebrate their work and encourage conversation and collaboration. Exhibiting artists: Trenton Baylor, Jamie Bertsch, Teresa Faris, Gerit Grimm, Helen Lee, Bradley Nichols, Masako Onodera, John Ready, Rhonda Willers This exhibition is free and open to the public
