I was just reminded of the Uniloax thing, and that I was going to read through the KF thread. KF is down, but anyway. Before blocking her newest account, I took a peek to see if she was still going on about the centaur thing. I understand what it's like to be accused of something that isn't true and to be accused of something true but was a singular mistake, because I have been through both experiences. There comes a point where you have to weigh whether or not the time and energy is worth spending on defending or disproving something. It can be hard to leave something alone when you know somebody is spreading shit about you, but I found that my own peace increased drastically when I just stopped paying them any attention and moved on. Uniloax being accused of ripping off an artist a few years ago could have been done and over very quickly if not for what seems to be her obsession with soothing her ego. Instead of apologizing and not doing it again, she apparently became deeply indignant and began an obsessive campaign to avenge her (nonexistent) reputation and fragile ego. She went after the other artist and began putting out video after video of her drawing new pictures that were supposed to somehow posthumously prove that she wasn't referencing Lambys art that one time. What could have been a brief faux pas she turned into a years-long mission to prove her innocence. In doing this, she would force breath back into the drama every single time she made a post or video about it, rather than letting it die. She keeps beating it over the head and the more she protests, the more guilty she looks. What's that idiom again? "The lady doth protest too much"
