ok im seeing a lot of people getting screwed over w getting their deposits back from unis bc of “damage” to the accommodation, specifically w my firm choice uni (like one person said they were fined bc they had the curtains cleaned so they took part of the deposit from them cos the room wasnt in the same state as when they moved in???) so this is basically a reminder to myself and whoever else that when you move into uni accommodation, on the day you move in (if you can!!) take pictures of any damage you can find so if they fine you for it at the end of the year, you can easily prove it wasnt you

Otherwise, the electives don’t particularly do much for you once you finish uni. They’re just classes the uni makes you do so you fill out a sufficient amount or something. So some people use them for a minor. Idt most do, idk.

If you like Japanese so much, perhaps you could look into using your electives to complete a minor. You can have that on your end transcript.
i dont rly like japanese a lot its just i feel bad if i do it once and dont touch it ever again, tbqh im not even rly sure what a minor is , particularly in relation to usyd, who isnt v helpful about it
