Letter to the editors: Refugee Law Project Access to Justice programme
Dear Colleagues & Friends,
Refugee Law Project (RLP), through its Access to Justice Program, empowers adult forced migrants to advocate for their rights and improve their livelihoods through the English for Adults (EFA) program, which focuses on the four basic language skills of listening, speaking, writing and reading. The program also, in partnership with RESPECT University in Canada, enhances the capacities of forced migrants through advanced certificate courses including International Humanitarian Law, Basic Accounting, and Basic Information Technology.
RLP is delighted to inform you that this year, 94 of our learners who successfully completed their courses, will receive certificates in an awards ceremony slated for 13 March 2015.
To further highlight the impact of this program on refugee livelihoods and access to justice, we invite you to watch the short version of the documentary “The New Me.”
