Asriel: Papyrus’s first reaction was... rough.

Sans:

Hey, Goat Kid, where’d that human go? Could of swore they were here just a minute ago.

Papyrus:

Maybe you should try asking the other one? They seem pretty “goaty” about something.

Sans:

I have no time for your jokes, Papyrus! The Magnificent Sans needs to find the human or they will never know that the barrier’s finally down!

Asriel: And Sans was... worse.

Papyrus:

I don’t know, maybe they managed to slip out by a “hair” already.

Sans:

UGH! Enough with the goat puns! Hey, Frisk, do you know where the human went?

Papyrus: ...

Sans: ...

Woah! Frisk, what the heck happened to you?

Wait... Did you become a monster just so you could be like The Magnificent Sans?

Asriel: It wasn’t that Papyrus was surprised... I don’t think that’s even possible for him. It was just... his puns were worse than Mom’s.

Asriel: Howdy! My name’s...

Papyrus: Trust me kid. I know E X A C T L Y who you are.

You’re Asriel, right? Frisk told me about you. Always nice to meet a new friend.

Asriel: Introductions... were... awkward.

Frisk says they didn’t see anything...

Papyrus doesn’t seem to let me forget what I became...

Sans vapes. He has a lot of different flavours, and basically does it for the taste. It’s how he passes time at his jobs. While he’s not really for cloudchasing or anything, he did have Papyrus convinced for a while that the slight haze at his booth was because of its ~mystery~.

Papyrus vaped for like, one day, but only because Sans convinced him he could use the clouds to make him look mysterious and powerful. When Papyrus visited the Royal Guard, a lingering tomato-pasta-smelling haze around him, Undyne immediately slammed the door before he could get a word out. That was his first and last time vaping.

Toriel vaped once, but only because Sans wanted her to, and she wanted to humor him. She liked the taste he got for her [butterscotch!] but felt weird using it. She needed some convincing by Sans that it wasn’t bad or ‘delinquent’ of her to try it.

Undyne didn’t care about vaping, thinking of it as “weaker eating”, until Sans ventured she couldn’t make a bigger cloud than him. So she immediately ran out, got a vape, ran back, and started puffing -- not even noticing that Sans was just smoking normally, she cloudchased until the poor vape exploded on her. She actually still has a barely-visible scar on her chin. Despite this, she still sometimes shares with Sans when she starts thinking about the destiny of her people, standing at the edge of a cliff, blowing clouds into the wind.

Mettaton pretends to understand vaping because it’s cool, but just places an empty vape to his face and puffs smoke from his body.

Alphys isn’t really into vaping, and is actually a little uncomfortable with the haze that constant vaping makes, though she can’t quite place why. The flavour smells are fun, except it makes her wish she could actually be able to eat them. So, overall, she’d rather just eat real snacks instead. That didn’t stop her from learning everything there was to know about them, though.

Asgore tried vaping because Sans told him it’d make him look more relatable and cool, even buying his own vape, but after the first day he left it forgotten in a drawer somewhere.
