The camisole is lightweight and super soft, make this women’s undershirts more comfortable and breathable.
Undershirt belonging to Horatio Nelson, c. 1800, National Maritime Museum. The shirt is made of a lightweight wool flannel, and the skirt portion is heavier gauge wool flannel. The cuff, collar, and front edges are finished with linen tape, and it closes with Dorset buttons. I’m sewing myself a version of this and I’m so excited, it’s going to be so warm!
