“I was watching a skating comp with a friend and my fave skater was going. I noted some things like URs, late to music, etc. In passing, I also noted nice jumps, amazing choreo, etc. My friend said ‘Wow, you’re really critical of your faves,’ and that made me think: Why can’t we criticize our faves? Obviously not publicly/bullying, but in casual passing, such as this interaction. Do we have to blindly think everything our fave does is the new golden law to be supportive?”
