#underrated week

Hello everyone! I am making a series of posts scheduled to be posted this upcoming Monday to encourage people to show appreciation.

There will be 7 posts total, each with a theme, including Shout Out Sunday, for you to shout out someone or something you like who doesn't fit with any of the other themes.

You are free to participate on all days, or just some, and you can participate on a day even if it's already passed

To call it such is to feed it, power it, fuel it.

Chaos is brought forth from evil and cruel deeds that need be vanquished.

Chaos is a being of unrelinquished terror, bonds of uncertainty, the blades of pain, and the agony of loss.

Beautiful things can come from chaos, but this is not chaos' doing.

No, such beauty is forged from the heroic deeds of the human race, moulding their own destinies from unlikely circumstances.

Boku No Hero Academia Underrated Week — March 17-23, 2019

I was scrolling my blog and noticed there was a vast difference in content between fan-favorites like Midoriya, Bakugou, Todoroki, and Ochako compared to their co-star characters. Of course there's a reason these characters are the fan-faves, and for there to be more content is totally normal. But I think Horikoshi spends far too much time developing the lesser-knowns for the fandom to forget and neglect them like we do.

My solution? I want to show them some love with an Underrated Week!

It's like to a ship week, where we make content for a week and give them time in the spotlight. This means posting a focused abundance of content for characters like Shouji, Satou, Kouda, Ojirou, Tokoyami, Aoyama, Hagakure, Melissa, class 1-B, Shigaraki, Chrono, Nejire, Fat Gum, Gang Orca, Best Jeanist, Inko, and more — for a solid week.

Because let's face it: these characters are in desperate need of more exposure and content! I hope you'll join in and participate, but if not, I hope to try it again in a few months.

The plan for my blog is to:

be more active, posting more to give them as much love as possible

take daily asks on my side blog: @tokoyami-musings — which will be celebrating, too, with even more content like poetry and drabbles

post my own content, such as moodboards, sketches, playlists, and drabbles are all hopeful possibilities if I can, because I don't do that enough

7. Favorite student:

// Tokoyami. My love of this birb boy snuck up on me as the series progressed, and became official in reading the manga. There's something about him that I can relate to and it made an impact on me. Although he's reserved, the little he says and does shows a great deal about his character and his goals, his insecurities and his fears. Combined with his quirk and it's power and nuances, his character is one of my favorites of any franchise.

The mysteries of the kitchen are not ones I am familiar with, aside from simple tarako onigiri.

29. What’s the best way to comfort you when you’re having a really terrible day?

Tea and lending a listening ear. Patience would be required, as I am told I retreat into myself and can make it awkward.
