It wasn't long after turning a corner, as she stepped out of view of the street behind her, that she was overcome by the feeling of being watched. She stopped, turning suddenly to search the shadows around her. There was nothing, no one to be seen.

The girl shivered, and the cold had nothing to do with it.

"H…hello?"

Only silence answered her timid call, the alley felt strangely still.

The girl lingered for a moment longer, watching, waiting. When there was no movement around her, she turned back around, intent to continue on her path.

Right at that moment, a hand closed over her mouth.

The girl screamed, starting to struggle as an arm wrapped tight around her middle from behind. The hand over her mouth began to secrete a sticky, viscous substance, sealing over her mouth and nose. Her airway cut off, she thrashed harder, which only amused the man accosting her.

"That's right, baby, scream for me," hot, humid breath washed over the girl's face as her attacker ran his tongue along her cheek. "No one can hear you except for me."

"And me."

Solid darkness poured down from above and now it was the attacker that was screaming as he was completely enveloped. He lost his hold on the girl as the shadows lifted him off of the ground and slammed him into the nearby wall. He went limp, knocked unconscious, and the darkness released him, letting him drop to the ground like discarded trash.

The darkness retreated back up towards the rooftop from where it descended, where its companion waited. It was the hero, Tsukuyomi and his quirk, Dark Shadow had been the one to take the man out. Now regrouped, the two of them descended once more into the alley below.

Tsukuyomi looked to the girl who had just been attacked, "are you alright, Nighthide?"

"Yeah, just grossed out," the girl reached up, removing a wig to reveal violet hair underneath. She wiped the slime from her face with her forearm, cringing in disgust, "what a fucking creep…"

"Indeed."

The two heroes walked over to observe the unconscious man. Nighthide nudged him with the toe of her shoe. When he didn't respond, she produced a set of handcuffs from her bag and set about restraining him.

"That was a good takedown, guys," Nighthide commented.

Tsukuyomi gave an acknowledging nod while Dark Shadow emerged from his body, offering Nighthide a thumbs up. "Do you believe this is the man from the reports?" Tsukuyomi asked.

"He definitely matches the description those girls gave. I'm pretty sure this is our guy."

There had been reports in the area recently of a serial groper terrorizing girls from the local high school. Nighthide and Tsukuyomi had taken on the case. For the past week, Nighthide had dressed up as a high school girl, walking the back alleys hoping to draw out the suspect. Tsukuyomi and Dark Shadow followed along on the rooftops. Tonight, they finally hit pay dirt.

They called in the capture and now all that was left to do was wait for the authorities to show up so they could make their statements and get this creep out of the area.

"I'm glad I don't have to wear this stupid uniform anymore," Nighthide mused, undoing the ribbon tie around her neck. It was kind of embarrassing to be an adult dressed as a high schooler.

"You look so cute, though!" Dark Shadow offered, causing Tsukuyomi to splutter and chastise his companion.

Nighthide snorted in amusement. She wadded up her tie and playfully tossed it in Dark Shadow's direction, "next time, you guys can wear the disguise."
