Super Mario RPG Charity Live Stream Event!!!
Hi everyone! We’re back!!
After last week’s successful stream on @mynameisbriggsycakes ‘s Twitch channel (which you can watch here: https://secure.twitch.tv/briggsycakes/v/76038452), Briggsy, myself, and the rest of the Late Night Live Reads crew are reuniting in order to achieve our goal of raising $500 in donations for ASTEP.
We want to see as many people as possible, so allow me to answer a few questions you may have…
What is ‘ASTEP’?
ASTEP is a non profit organization that brings exposure to and instruction in the arts to underprivileged children all around the world, and it is a cause that is very near and dear to our hearts.
Who is this ‘Briggsy’?
Briggsy, also known as ‘Briggsycakes’ and ‘Underbriggs’ on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGAk3XX7lHe3aHGcf1vnIJA), Twitch (https://secure.twitch.tv/briggsycakes/v/76038452), and here on tumblr ( @mynameisbriggsycakes, @underbriggs) is a hilarious, genuine, and all around wonderful human being, and dear friend of mine who loves playing games and helping others. check her out on all her social media cuz she’s awesome ;P
Who are the ‘Late Night Live Reads crew’?
‘Late Night Live Reads’ is an online voice acting group I started, where we amateur voice actors gather weekly to do ‘cold-reads’ and dubs of pretty much anything we can get our hands on: plays, movie scripts, musicals, manga, webcomics, video games- you name it. The point of it all is to just have fun while making friends and practicing our acting abilities.
Over the months we’ve been doing this, the group has solidified around a few key ‘regulars’ such as @joharmony, @thebluemoonspirit, @pascopinoy, myself, and a few others. However, as we aren’t working on a full-blown ‘project’ or have an official ‘cast’, we often have a number of other guests who come in and out to listen or join in on the fun- and that’s where Briggsy came in. The rest is history.
So, when Briggsy came and approached us asking if we’d like to help this incredible cause by doing what we love- we jumped at the chance. Now here we are, getting pumped for Stream #2, and doing our best to get the word out.
Okay that was pretty long, but when and where is this?
