So the other had noticed.

Send (///д///) for my character’s reaction to yours tripping, knocking mine over and landing atop them in a rather risque-like way.

It was one of those slow-paced evenings, with slight drizzling hitting against the windows. Kagami and Hiruzen where in the Hokage office, collecting the scrolls and paper work that were to be moved to the Archives. Nothing was off putting about the room- just that the huge chair was empty.

“Where do you reckon he went, Kagami?”

The Uchiha shrugged his shoulders, then answering verbally as stacks of paper in the arms of both obscured view.

“I’m not sure, anywhere really.”

A pause. A breath. It was coming. He could just imagine the huge grin spreading on the other’s face - Sharingan confirming it.

“I’ll bet…he’s with a woman!”

Right on point. Kagami expected those words to tumble out of Hiruzen’s mouth. Again, with this silly theory.

“A bet you are destined to lose Saru- if it’s a serious one.”

“One can’t be for sure.” Hiruzen replied as they traveled the hallway.

Hiruzen had always insisted that the Hokage was having secret affairs with the female gender. It was hard to believe- the man never responded to any advances. The counter arguments were that the highly regarded ninja had enough women in his “secret life”, and didn’t need additions. Also he would never show any interest in front of his subordinates. The first point was just speculation- the second, well, that wasn’t completely——

Paperwork,scrolls,books, everywhere.

Dark ebony stared into crimson. Two arms on the ground on each side of a head, one knee in the space between two legs. A face with three markings hovering over a plain one - noses touching. There were no words between them as Kagami Uchiha and Tobirama Senju found themselves in a rather interesting position.

“H-hello— pfft— Hokage-sama. Pffft—” Hiruzen was trying very hard to suppress laughter. He didn’t last. Kagami turned a deep shade of red.

Sipping tea later, Kagami was still flustered from earlier events. Hiruzen was still laughing. The Uchiha glared at him, not happy from being the subject of the Sarutobi’s amusement.

“Maybe Tobirama-sama is into men— HOT HOT!!”

The sudden voice startled Torifu, and had it not been Tobirama that spoke to him, he might've had a few choice words to not-so-kindly give.

But the fact remained that it was the Nidaime who gave the command, and despite the part of the younger man that made him want to refuse, to stay sitting before the grave, continually running over his thoughts... the better part of him was well aware that Tobirama's word was law, and even if it wasn't so in a literal sense, disobeying him still never yielded much of a reward, if any at all.

"...S-sorry." he murmured quietly, quickly dusting himself off as he rose to his feet.

Perhaps being pulled away from both the location and his thoughts was for the best, but all the same, he couldn't help glancing back to the stone one last time.

He had felt rather foolish, murmuring repeated apologies under his breath to his father, asking forgiveness for his failure to retrieve the man's body. What point was there in speaking to an empty grave?
