How? How in the world does that mean that? 

It’s blatant sexism and heteronormativity that makes r*ylo shipper believe because a white man and woman are in the same space that they will end up in a romantic relationship. Rey has a canonical blooming romantic relationship with Finn, not Kylo. Kylo is the villain of the story. Rey and Kylo are an important dynamic, similar to how Vader and Luke’s dynamic was important, or how Palatine and Anakin’s dynamic was important. The second it’s a women/man villain dynamic people jump all over the “sexual tension” which is blatantly misogynistic  

Rian Johnson literally said that this “[It offers] no one-to-one equivalent of the Han-to-Leia, burning, unrequited love. In our story, that’s not a centerpiece.”

This is so important to remember. Clearly no one has straight up said to him that it will never happen because he is just so enthusiastic about it all the time. If the Russo bros made it clear to Seb that they would never go in that direction, he’d most likely be upset and he probably wouldn’t talk about it as much as he does (and he talks about the pairing in present tense, too) 

I was recently alerted to a GIFset of mine that was being reblogged. SWEET you may be thinking. Heck yeah, I love reblogs! Except it wasn't from my blog. It was from uncoolguy.

"Huh." I thought, giving him the benefit of the doubt. "Maybe he doesn't really know how to use Tumblr?" I noticed when I went to his page he had a lot of normal reblogs, but then also a lot of blatant reposts of other peoples' GIFsets.
