12. How do they deal with an itch found in a place they can’t quite reach? She would totally try to still reach it on her own, first by contorting herself in some hilarious position, then by using whatever object is close to her. She'd think nobody sees her, but Dav would watch her from afar totally amused because by now he knows she's too stubborn to ask for help. Then, because he's that precious, he would resist the urge to tease and instead wait a bunch of minutes, walk by and casually go scratch the spot for her without saying a word.

40. How sensitive are they to their own flaws? As a general rule, she likes to laugh about her flaws, both with friends and strangers. Taking herself too seriously has never got her anywhere good, and she firmly believes flawed people are more approachable and nice to be around. For those few flaws she's ashamed about, though, it goes differently as she tends to minimize them or even shamelessly deny them when called out.

11. anything from your childhood you’ve held on to? Pressed leaves, collected rocks, knickknacks of that ilk. Books, mostly because I still read them - more classics than YA. Half-finished journals and diaries. Those I read less; I was sensitive and melancholy as a child too.

28. last meal on earth? Depends on the circumstances of my death. If I don't get a choice in the matter, then there's a few things I'm allergic to that I'd like to try at least once.

1. What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

Define “doing nothing”. Cuz if she’s allowed to think about stuff(theories, books she’s read, conversations recently had, etc), then a couple hours. Otherwise…… twenty seconds.

3. How do they put themselves to bed at night (reading, singing, thinking?)

She reads for awhile then mulls over whatever her current academic pursuit is until she falls asleep. 

8. What were they told to stop/start doing most often as a child?

Well, that’s easy. Asking questions. Adi more than any of her siblings made her parents dread the word “Why?”  

11. How do they cope with confusion (seek clarification, pretend they understand, etc)?

Bombards you with questions to clarify, will probably get frustrated if there are more than three or four “I don’t know”s in there.If kith can’t sufficiently clarify, she’ll go to books.

30. Who do they most regret meeting?

Ondra. Her major schtick in Pillars 1 is forgetting, which is the opposite of Adi’s life goal(learn as much as possible, preserve cultures for future generations etc), and meeting her started Adi wondering how much she’s caused Eora to “forget” through erasing cultures off the map, and it drives her crazy wondering what could be learned from these people if not for Ondra.

37. Do they have a system for remembering names, long lists of numbers, things that need to go in a certain order (like anagrams, putting things to melodies, etc)?

1. What’s the maximum amount of time your character can sit still with nothing to do?

Absolutely nothing? Not very long. Maybe ten minutes? Tops? She’s very good at sitting still for a long time when she’s reading, or snuggling her SO, but otherwise… she’s not going to last long.

4. How easy is it to earn their trust?

Fairly easy. It’s not instantaneously given or anything, but she doesn’t make people work too hard for it, either. Watch her back in a fight or two, maybe have a good idea how to handle something, and she’ll be at least mostly cool with you. Super duper deep trust, like sharing her deepest fears and insecurities is a different animal and does take a little longer. There’s also only about…. four or five people who ever get that far.

9. Do they swear? Do they remember their first swear word?

Some, yeah. She’s nowhere near my worst muse when it comes to that, but she’s not afraid to pepper some curse words in. Especially when she’s excited or upset. Her first swear word…. I’m pretty sure it was just ‘Damn’.

17. Are they easily embarrassed?

Haha, NO. In most things. (She’s very self-conscious about singing, so she will get embarrassed if someone catches her doing that.Well, someone outside that group or 4-5 she super duper trusts)

4. How easy is it to earn their trust? Through the years she learned the hard way to not to be overly trusting by default when she meets someone new, but she still likes to give everyone a chance. So yes, you have to earn her trust, but it won't take that much :)

13. What color do they think they look best in? Do they actually look best in that color? She wears earthy colors, browns, coppers and greens almost exclusively. Which is why she looks so good in Veil Jumpers' outfits ;) I like her a lot with those tones, so that's fine for me! She's got purple eyes so I think she could maybe play with that a little more, but her hair takes so much visual space that I guess it becomes the main tone to reference anyways!

C. Did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story? If we mean her own backstory, well, yes a lot. I remember during the first months of Veilguard that there were a lot of asks going around about veil jumpers background etc, and I did not have the answer to any of them. I've got a better idea of whatever she was doing before Veilguard only in the last month maybe? I'm discovering Ayanne with you guys along the way, really slowly, bit by bit, and that's the way I like it :)

4. How easy is it to earn their trust?

Pretty easy. Vikkari starts from a place of assuming the best about people, so he'll trust pretty easily unless given serious reason to doubt.(this is how he winds up with a former/redeemed succubus for a gf; why wouldn't he believe when she says she's trying to change???)

7. What triggers nostalgia for them, most often? Do they enjoy that feeling?

Potato chowder. He's from Qadira, which is not an area conducive to potato-growing, so anytime his parents got their hands on some through trade or purchase and his mom made potato chowder it was a big deal. And her recipe is really good, it's one of the first things he learned to make when he discovered his interest in cooking. So it's nostalgic from a couple different angles. He'll eat other people's and thank them for it, but he is always comparing it to his mother's in his head and most don't measure up. xD He loves his family + cooking so the nostalgia gives him warm fuzzies and he likes it quite a lot.

16. What makes their stomach turn?

The Abyss. The lengths devils/demons will go to inflict harm or people just for small gains or even just The Heck of It. Oh, and vescavors. He hates vescavors. /shudder
