@_dr.drew Athlete 🏈 turned doctor 🩺🥼I wanted to be in a profession that empowers people, so they may have the confidence to conquer their challenges and live the most autonomous, independent, and dignified life possible. I can't think of a better way to do that than becoming a physiatrist, whose specialty is dedicated to maximizing these aspects in their patients' day to day life. I'm honored I had the opportunity to go to Johnson C. Smith University in undergrad which gave me the foundation I needed to succeed in medical school.
