I gotta say, it’s pretty effective use of “tell, don’t show” to have basically all we know of what Greg’s doing to Uncle Brad be Sharkie (a character not shy about expressing their displeasure with physical violence) explaining that they were waiting for their turn with Brad, but that they got disturbed by the noises coming from Greg’s workroom and decided to leave.
Brad is just supremely unlucky. Hell’s Belles has established that pedophiles are especially violently punished, plus Brad’s molestations led to Penny’s suicide, which has got to count against him even more. Plus Brad is unrepentant, and a lack of repentance has been established to once again count against people in Hell (as understanding what you did wrong is the entire point of Hell)
Put on top of that that the prequel has established that the demons seem to view Lily with unrefined reverence for establishing the Hellp Desk, and that was before she became actual literal royalty. And that reverence has presumably been passed on to the rest of the Hellp Desk staff, especially to the kind and gentle and patient Penny.
And that’s all before Brad found himself at the hands of Gregorith, described multiple times as the scariest demon in hell, who is Penny’s fucking fiancé.
Dude’s gonna regret the fact that souls regenerate in the afterlife is what I’m saying.
