I think Bentham would love the theme of connection across the world, after all, that’s his thing. It also conjured to mind that image of him putting his hands up like he’s “reaching for a pull up bar” because I think it’s sweet how enthusiastic he is about it all. I wish he’d have had more time with the panloopticon. I think he deserved that.

All that talk of “live a little, get around.” I think he was cursed by his exile in exactly the worst way, he was trapped in one spot. Both his siblings kind of took that away from him, intentionally or not, in their individual punishments. If you put on that song for him he’d have more fond memories than painful. He’d probably start talking to you for an hour or two about the places he’s been, things he’s done.

I mentioned he could have a record and cd collection as part of his museum recently elsewhere, to show the future as well as the past since he lives in the 1880s, and, this would probably be one of his favourites.
