Fic Title: "Midnight Madness"
uhhh...I reblogged this meme like three months ago, but okay.
Sephiroth has a bad habit. He’s done it since he was a child in the labs. He’ll wake up in the middle of the night, wide awake and certain that something terrible is happening. He has to check through everything before he can fall asleep again.
He felt embarassed about it when he started dating his boyfriends, so he pretended like he’d gotten over it and did his best to not wake them when he woke up. For a while it worked. One night when he and Cloud were sleeping alone, Cloud woke up when he left the bed. Cloud was concerned at first, but just sat out and waited for him to finish his check. Sephiroth kept apologizing, but Cloud wouldn’t have it.
“Midnight prowls aren’t a deal breaker for me,” Cloud muttered sleepily. Now Seph is getting used to having someone stay out when he does his check
